Celine: Hey, how’s everything going??

Me: Fine. I’m at home now.

Celine: I want details.

Me: There are none.

Celine: Don’t make me come over there.

I sighed. She would, too.

Me: Nothing happened. We fell asleep and I took an Uber home.

Celine: For real?

Me: Yeah.

Celine: He didn’t try anything?

Me: Nope. I’m apparently not his type.

Celine: He told you that?

Me: No, but I heard him tell someone else.

Celine: What a fucking asshole. You’re too good for him.

I sent her a smiley face.

Celine: You want to grab lunch?

Me: I’m eating now.

Celine: Dinner later?

Me: Not tonight. I’m tired and just want to rest.

Celine: You okay?

Me: Of course. Just because I’m not Mason Stone’s type doesn’t mean that my life is over.

Celine: You got that right. Forget about him. I’m throwing out all of his CDs and erasing his songs from my iPod.

Smiling, I told her she didn’t have to.

Celine: I know but I have to now that I know what kind of prick he is.

I sent her a heart.

Celine: Love you, girl. Let’s get together this week.

Me: Okay. Love you, too.
